Family, friends, and distinguished guests, thank you very much for coming to this event. Today is a momentous day for me, my family, and our 19-year-old news organization. I am deeply honored and thankful that I am able to speak with you today.

When I graduate and come back to Myanmar in a couple of months, I am preparing and looking forward to maintaining and strengthening Eleven’s core principles of editorial independence and press freedom. Because I am only 21 years old, I still have plenty to learn, but I am determined to work hard and tackle challenges head-on. 

In this speech, I want to underscore that over the past few years, traditional media—both domestically and globally—has suffered immensely due to the disruptions caused by technological advancements. It is crucial for our Eleven Media Group to overcome these challenges by developing our multimedia platform through expanding our digital channels.

I understand that moving from traditional media to digital media can be very challenging, but the successful integration of digital media such as New York Times and Straits Times emphasize that the transition is both necessary and feasible. Although large, global newspapers struggled significantly in 2011 and 2012, recently, global news organizations have shown a resurgence because they were able to successfully adapt to the changing media landscape.As such, it is crucial to understand that what worked in the past may not work anymore. It is vital that we adopt different approaches and practices in order to successfully adapt to the new era.

The world is always in a flux. The constantly-changing nature of our society demand that we as both individuals and as a group must constantly learn, adapt, and grow. I will try my best to ensure that our Eleven Media Group is able to do more and become more by implementing new and different approaches in this rapidly changing world and media environment.

လေးစားရပါတဲ့ ဧည့်သည်တော်များ၊ ကျွန်တော်တို့နဲ့အတူတူ Eleven Media Group ရဲ့ မိသားစုဝင်များ အားလုံးကို မင်္ဂလာပါလို့ နှုတ်ခွန်းဆက်သလိုက်ပါတယ်။ အခုလောလောဆယ်မှာ ကျွန်တော့်အနေနဲ့ ကျောင်းတက်ဆဲ ဖြစ်ပေမယ့် နောက်လေးလ ကြာတဲ့အချိန်မှာတော့ ကျွန်တော့်အနေနဲ့ လုပ်ငန်းခွင်ကို အပြီးဝင်ရောက်တော့မှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

လုပ်ငန်းခွင်ကို အပြီးဝင်ရောက်တော့မှာ ဖြစ်ပေမယ့်လည်း ကျွန်တော့်အနေနဲ့ သင်ယူဆဲကာလလို့ပဲ ခံယူထားပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ သင်ယူဆဲကာလ ဆိုပေမယ့် Eleven Media Group အပါအဝင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ ရှိနေတဲ့၊ ကမ္ဘာပေါ်မှာရှိနေတဲ့ Traditional Main Steam Media တွေ ဖြတ်ကျော်နေရမယ့် အခက်အခဲတွေ အားလုံးကို လေ့လာနေပြီး သဘောပေါက်ထားတာလည်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကမ္ဘာကြီးဟာ အမြဲပြောင်းလဲနေပါတယ်။ အထူးသဖြင့် အခုငါးနှစ်အတွင်းမှာ Digital World ရဲ့ အပြောင်းအလဲတွေမှာ Social Media အပြောင်းအလဲတွေကြောင့် ကမ္ဘာ့နိုင်ငံရေး၊ စီးပွားရေး၊ လူမှုရေး ဘောင်တွေဟာ မယုံကြည်နိုင်အောင် ပြောင်းသွားခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ အပြောင်းအလဲကို ငြင်းဆန်သူတွေ၊ အပြောင်းအလဲကို ကတိပေးတဲ့အတိုင်း မလုပ်တဲ့သူတွေ၊ မပြောင်းဘဲနဲ့ ပြောင်းနေပြီလို့ မိမိကိုယ်ကိုယ် ထင်မြင်ယူဆသူတွေဟာ Digital Revolution နောက်မှာ အကြီးအကျယ် ဒဏ်ခတ်ခံရတာပါပဲ။ ဒီအချိန်မှာ Traditional Media တွေက ပြိုင်ဆိုင်မှု အခက်အခဲတွေနဲ့ ရင်ဆိုင်နေရပါတယ်။ အပြောင်းအလဲတွေဟာ မဖြစ်မနေ လုပ်ရမယ့် အခြေအနေတွေကို ရောက်ရှိနေပြီလို့ ကျွန်တော့်အနေနဲ့ သိရှိထားပါတယ်။ ဒီလိုအပြောင်းအလဲတွေ မလုပ်ဘူးဆိုရင် မီဒီယာ တော်တော်များများဟာ ကျဆုံးမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီအပြောင်းအလဲတွေ အားလုံးအတွက်ကို စိန်ခေါ်မှုတွေ အားလုံးကို ကျွန်တော်အခု လေ့လာသင်ယူ နေပါတယ်။ မကြာမီ ကျွန်တော် တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်တော့မယ့် အချိန်မှာ ကျွန်တော်တို့ရဲ့ Eleven Media ဟာ Traditional Media ကနေ Digital Media ကို အလျင်အမြန် ပြောင်းလဲတော့မှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Eleven Media Group ရဲ့ Multi Media အသွင်ကိုလည်း ပြောင်းလဲသွားတော့မှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီအတွက် ကျွန်တော့်မှာ လေ့လာသင်ယူမှုတွေ၊ အတွေ့အကြုံတွေ၊ လက်ရှိရှိနေတဲ့ Eleven Media က မိသားစုတွေရဲ့ အတွေ့အကြုံတွေနဲ့ ပေါင်းစပ်ပြီး ကျွန်တော့်အနေနဲ့ နောက်တစ်ဆင့် ဖြစ်သွားအောင် ဒီအတွက် အစွမ်းကုန် ကြိုးစားသွားမယ်လို့ ဒီနေရာကနေ လုပ်ဖော်ကိုင်ဖက်တွေ၊ မိသားစုဝင်တွေကို ကတိပြုပါတယ်။ ဘာပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် ကျွန်တော်တို့ ရပ်တန့်နေလို့ မရပါဘူး။  အပြောင်းအလဲတွေနဲ့ စိန်ခေါ်မှုတွေကို ရင်ဆိုင်ကျော်လွှားသွားရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့်မို့ ကျွန်တော် တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ချိန်မှာ Digital Media Platform ကို ပိုမိုအားသာအောင် ဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးတော့ Eleven Media Group ကို Multi Media Group ကြီးတစ်ခုဖြစ်အောင် လုပ်ဆောင်သွားမယ်လို့ ပြောကြားရင်း ဒီနေရာမှာ နိဂုံးချုပ်ပါတယ်။
